Person On Tracks May Have Touched Third Rail In DC: MTA Police (Developing) An investigation has been launched after a person may have died after touching the third rail outside a Metro station in Washington, DC. Metro Transit Police said that officers and DC Fire and EMS personnel were called to the Judiciary Square Metro Station early on Monday, April 3, to investigate an unauthorized person on the tracks that potentially made contact with the third rail.
