Delivery Driver Who Targeted Teen Girl Arrested For Stalking In VA: Sheriff

A delivery driver in Virginia attempted to prey on a teen girl he is accused of stalking, the Stafford County Sheriff's Office announced.

24-year-old William Wilson is back on the streets after being arrested and released after allegedly targeting a teenager who he made inappropriate comments toward. 

According to a spokesperson from the sheriff's office, on Thursday, Dec. 21, deputies were called to investigate a suspicious delivery driver who came to a home in the Rock Hill District several times and "offered to do things of a sexual nature" with the girl.

Investigators made note that Wilson was a stranger to the girl. 

Wilson was arrested for stalking and attempted consensual acts with a minor. 

The Stafford resident was released by a judge after being charged. 

No information about his next court appearance has been released by the sheriff's office.
