A lucrative reward has been offered in Maryland for information that leads to the apprehension of a suspect who targeted a United States Postal Service letter carrier in downtown Silver Spring. Up to $50,000 is up for grabs for tipsters that help identify and locate a man wanted for robbing a mailman at approximately 8;30 a.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 28 on East West Highway in Silver Spring. A 40-year-old man purchased human body parts from a woman in Arkansas using Facebook, police in Pennsylvania say. Terrifying Armed Robbery Spree Targets Mailmen Across DC, Maryland
Six United States Postal Service mail carries were robbed at gunpoint and assaulted in the spans of two days across Washington DC and Maryland, officials said. The suspects made off with "a wide variety of items that the postal service provides their carriers to do their jobs on a daily basis" along with personal property, according to USPIS spokesman Michael Martel.
