It took less than 24 hours for members of the Metropolitan Police Department to track down a vehicle that was linked to Sunday's mass shooting in Northwest DC that left two dead and five hospitalized. Firefighters quickly doused a blaze that broke out at a Fairfax County home early Wednesday, March 13. Firefighters were called to a home on Silver Anne Drive in Lorton around 6:30 a.m., where heavy fire was showing from the side of the home. Firefighters quickly brought the fire under control. Hours-Long Manhunt For Chainsaw-Wielding Man Ends In Stafford
An hours-long manhunt for a chainsaw-wielding burglary suspect ended successfully Monday, March 4 in Stafford County, authorities said. Shawn Kimmitz of the Stafford County Sheriff's Office said the man, who had tried breaking into a home on Musselman Road around 7 a.m., was captured at Rappahannock Landing in the mid-morning hours.
