In October 2021, Foulger-Pratt submitted an unsolicited proposal to the county government with potential plans for a new 40,000-square-foot library, along with about 350 affordable housing units in two buildings with structured parking, the website said.
The Fairfax County Redevelopment and Housing Authority called for other private developers to submit their proposals for this project, as well, reports said.
A public hearing is set for September 15 at 7 p.m. in the Fairfax County Government Center, to discuss this "Bowman Towne Center" redevelopment project, FFXnow said.
