A woman using a wheelchair was killed while trying to cross a busy Virginia highway Friday night. Theresa Flynn, 53, of Chantilly, was attempting to make her way across Route 50 near Plaza Lane in Fairfax County shortly before 7:30 p.m. on Sept. 18 when she was hit by a Kia, police said.
