A 49-year-old man who police say attacked congressional workers with a metal baseball bat in Fairfax County was allegedly captured chasing a neighbor around with the same weapon hours earlier, according to recent news reports. An 18-year-old woman was found shot to death inside a Northeast DC hotel room over the weekend, authorities said. Officers responded to the 1200 block of First Street on a report of a shooting around 9:50 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 19, according to the Metropolitan Police Department. Once inside a hotel room, officers found an unconscious woman suffering from a gunshot wound, they said. The safety director of the D.C. Public Library announced his resignation after a fatal shooting at the Anacostia branch, according to FOX5DC. Woman Barricades Herself In Mandarin Oriental Hotel Room After Shooting: Police
A woman with two handguns was arrested in a D.C. hotel after shooting a man, Fox5DC reported. Police responded to reports of a shooting around 7:40 p.m. July 21 at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel, Fox5DC said.
