One person suffered critical injuries in what police described as a "serious crash" in Leesburg on Friday morning. Shortly after 6:30 a.m. on Nov. 15, first responders were called to the area of Catoctin Circle SE and South King Street, where there were multiple reports of a pedestrian who was struck by a Ford pick-up truck. An autopsy determined that a Maryland toddler found dead in Washington, DC was due to blunt force trauma, according to the Metropolitan Police Department. Late on Saturday night, Upper Marlboro native Journee Moore was the subject of an emergency call in Northwest DC after going into cardiac arrest. Police in Montgomery County have identified the midday shooting suspect who left a man with critical injuries. District resident Isaiah Warren Simpson, 33, has been identified as the suspect involved in a Friday afternoon shooting that ended with one man suffering from a gunshot wound in Rockville.
