A complex storm that will last for parts of three days will bring a mix of rain and sleet, with snow in some spots, along with windy conditions. The time frame for the system is from late Wednesday night, Nov. 20, through Friday, Nov. 22. It will bring the first soaking rain to much of the Northeast since late September. The ongoing dry conditions throughout the region led to a large brush fire in Harford County that resulted in one firefighter suffering an injury, according to officials. First responders from multiple agencies in Northern Maryland and Pennsylvania were called at around 7:45 a.m. on Saturday morning to a brush and woods fire in the area of Baldhill Lane and Silver Lane in Darlington after being alerted to flames by a utility worker in the area. A small brush fire in Berkshire County Friday afternoon, Nov. 8, spread to multiple homes, causing major damage, authorities said. Firefighters were called to 8-10 Scammell Avenue in Pittsfield just before 4:30 p.m. after a bushfire leaped onto a two-family home and a large deck at nearby 15 Draper Ave., authorities said.
