Five Arrested After $7K In Ecstasy, Coke, Heroin, Meth Seized: Essex County Prosecutor
Five people were arrested after multiple raids in Hudson, Essex and Union counties last month uncovered $7,000 in illegal drugs, authorities said.
The raids, which took place Wednesday, Oct. 30 and Thursday, Oct. 31, were the result of a four-month investigation and targeted individuals believed to be involved in the distribution of controlled substances, Essex County Prosecutor Theodore Stephens II said.
Recovered in the raids were approximately 27 grams of heroin, 20 vials of cocaine and crack cocaine, 84 Ecstasy pills, Oxycodone and Xanax pills as well as drug packaging paraphernali…

A wanted man in Cape May County was accused of having drugs, a knife, and a pistol-style BB gun, authorities said.
Jonathan Duerr, 30, of Wildwood, was arrested on Sunday, Apr. 14, the Wildwood Police Department said in a news release on Tuesday, Apr. 16. His arrest came while officers were investigating a burglary at a home on the 200 block of East Cresse Avenue at around 9:45 p.m.

Two arrests have been made in a shooting that happened earlier this month in Arlington, police said.
Elijah Broadus, 21, and Isaiah Grady, 18, were charged for their roles in a shooting in which at least one person in a group of six fired at a vehicle leaving a parking lot on S. Kenmore Street and 23rd Street S., on Dec. 2, Arlington County police said.
Broadus was arrested on Dec. 20 and charged with shooting at an occupied vehicle, discharge of a firearm within 1,000 feet of a school, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, and wearing a mask to conceal identity, police said. …

Three men were arrested in Atlantic City, including one wanted for shooting a gun, authorities said.
On Monday, July 31, at 6:14 p.m., Officer John Bell allegedly saw Koron Still and two other men, Alim Tisdale and Melvin Young, in the 500 block of South Carolina Avenue, Atlantic City police said.
Still was wanted since June 26 after an incident at a home where Still became involved in a fight, police said. On that date, Still allegedly removed a handgun from his waistband and fired one gunshot at the victim, police said. No one was hurt.

Three people were arrested in Newark and hit with weapons and narcotics charges after officers observed a drug sale on Wednesday, July, 26, authorities said.
The drug sale occurred while sheriff's officers were on patrol at Virginia Street and Frelinghuysen Avenue, the Essex County Sheriff's Office said.
