Authorities have released a composite sketch of a man who they say impersonated police and pulled over New Jersey drivers. A victim was stopped by a man in a black, older model Ford Crown Victoria and activated a blue dome light on the front dashboard in Brick Township around 2 p.m. on Aug. 1, New Jersey State Police said. A 33-year-old man accused of luring and sexually assaulted a 13-year-old child in a motel last November was apprehended in Rockland County, authorities said. Authorities are investigating a hit-and-run crash that left a 32-year-old pedestrian seriously injured in Monmouth County. At about 8:55 p.m. on Sunday, Wall Township police were called to Belmar Boulevard and Birchwood Lane on a report of pedestrian struck by a motor vehicle. The Jackson man was heading southbound on State Route 35 on a Harley Davidson when he lost control and struck a tree around 8:55 p.m., Wall Township police said. An Ocean County was arrested Friday for stealing more than $100,000 over the course of eight years from the law firm she was working for, authorities said Monday. Patricia Vaughn, 62, of Toms River, made numerous unauthorized transfers from the Wall Township office's various accounts to its operating account while working there from 2011 through 2019, Monmouth County Prosecutor Christopher J. A former bookkeeper who admitted stealing at least $75,000 from a Monmouth County health club has been sentenced to three years in state prison, authorities said. Jennifer Ambrosino, 42, of Point Pleasant, also was ordered to pay $100,000 in restitution by Superior Court Judge Paul X. Escandon. Wall Construction CFO Embezzled $660K, Authorities Say
The chief financial officer at a Wall-based construction company embezzled more than $660,000 from the company over a two-year period, authorities said. Kenneth Schwarz, 69, of Howell, a 25-year employee of the Wall-based construction company, was charged Monday with theft and falsifying records, Monmouth County Prosecutor Christopher J.
