Darien Man, 36, ID'd As Victim Of Fatal Ski Accident Injuring Brother, 35, From Norwalk
A Fairfield County man has been identified as the skier who died in an accident at a Vermont resort.
Andrew Hryb, 36, of Darien, was killed on Saturday, Feb. 29, when he accidentally went off-trail at the Stowe Mountain Resort in Cambridge and fell off a cliff, Vermont State Police said.
His brother, Alexander Hyrb, 35, of Norwalk, suffered minor injuries in the incident.

Husband, Wife From CT Killed In Vermont Glider Crash
Two of three people who died Wednesday in a glider crash in Vermont have been identified as Connecticut residents.
Husband and wife, Frank Moroz, 58, and Suzanne Moroz, 56, both of Hamden, died in the crash along with the pilot, Donald Post, 70, the owner of Stowe Soaring which operated the gliding business, said Adam Silverman, spokesman for the Vermont State Police.
A tow plane with the glider attached departed from the Morrisville-Stowe State Airport in Vermont at about 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 29, Silverman said. The glider disconnected over Spruce Peak about 20 minutes later.
