A 52-year-old Pennsylvania man has been killed in a bull attack on his farm, authorities said on April 30. Richard “Rick” David Joy of Scrubgrass Road, Jackson Center died from his injuries from the bull attack on April 23, according to the Mercer County Coroner's office. Rick was doing routine work in his pasture when his bull became aggressive and attacked him around 11 p.m. on Tuesday, as explained by the Pennsylvania State Police. A US Army veteran from Stroudsburg will spend the next 70 years in prison for torturing an employee at his illegal weapons facility in Iraq, according to the FBI. Federal investigators said Ross Roggio directed Kurdish soldiers to kidnap the victim, his own employee, and hold him hostage at a military installation for 39 days. A soldier was found dead Wednesday, April 10 at a Fort Meade barrack in Anne Arundel County, according to officials. The soldier was found by a service member who went into his room to check on him around 10:20 a.m., when he found him unresponsive, according to Shaun Herron, a public affairs specialist with the US Army.
