Two people were injured in a two-car crash in the region. The collision occurred in Dutchess County around 2:45 p.m., Tuesday, Nov. 5, on Route 9 at the intersection of Galleria Drive near the AT&T store and Vitamin Shoppe in the Town of Poughkeepsie. According to the Poughkeepsie Police, a 2016 Honda sedan, driven by a Poughkeepsie woman, was heading northbound on Route 9 when it collided with a 2013 Audi sedan. Police are searching for witnesses to a one-car crash that killed a 32-year-old Connecticut resident. The collision occurred in Fairfield County around 10 a.m., Tuesday, Aug. 15 in Shelton at the intersection of Shelton Avenue and Pine Street. A 17-year-old Connecticut teen was seriously injured while allegedly doing a "wheelie" on a dirt bike. The incident took place in New Haven County around 4:45 p.m., Monday, May 22, near East Broadway and Shea Avenue in Milford. A Connecticut woman was killed by a vehicle that was traveling on the wrong side of a busy roadway. The crash happened in New Haven County at around 7:20 p.m. Friday, Aug. 13 in Milford. The victim was a 60-year-old woman from Milford, according to Milford Police. A 34-year-old Paterson police officer died Easter Sunday morning at St. Joseph's Regional Medical Center of complications from the coronavirus, authorities said.
