State police are seeking witnesses to a serious injury Fairfield County crash that left a man and woman hospitalized. The crash took place around 8:20 p.m., Monday, Aug. 15 in Shelton. According to state police, a Toyota RAV4 was traveling in the right lane of two on Route 8 southbound with a Honda motorcycle following directly behind approximately one-quarter of a mile north of Exit 12. Police Seek Suspect Who Wounded 3, Killed 1 In Northwest DC Shooting
Police are looking for a suspect who shot four men in D.C., police said. On July 16 at around9 p.m., officers found three victims suffering gunshot wounds in the 200 block of Adams Street, according to the Metropolitan Police Department. One of the victims, 27-year-old Jaquan Bragg, was pronounced dead at the hospital and the three other men were treated for non-life threatening injuries, officials reported. Stafford Motorcyclist Killed In Fatal Collision With Another Vehicle: Police
A 27-year-old motorcyclist was killed in Stafford after he crashed into another vehicle, police said. On July 28 at around 7:40 p.m., Darius Whited was riding his motorcycle at the intersection of Garrisonville Road and Patton Drive when he collided with a Toyota Rav4, according to the Stafford County Sheriff's Office. Whited suffered life-threatening injuries and later died in a local hospital, officials reported. Anyone with more information should contact Stafford police at 540-658-4450.

DUI Jersey Shore Driver Was Going 90 MPH In Fatal Head-On Crash: Prosecutor
A 20-year-old Lakewood man was driving drunk at 90 mph when he crashed head-on killing a passenger in the other car, authorities said. Mordechai Berkowitz, was charged with aggravated manslaughter, vehicular homicide and assault by auto in the July 22 crash that killed Mexican national Juana Lopez-Hernandez, 44, according to Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley D. A one-car crash on I-87 in the region led to the arrest of a 43-year-old man who was allegedly driving with a blood alcohol concentration more than triple the legal limit, state police said. Four people were killed and one was injured after a fatal two-vehicle crash in Harford County, according to police. Mary Yvonne Mejia, 54, died after attempting to pass another vehicle in her Toyota Rav4 and crashing into a Honda Civic on U.S. Route 1 at Rock Spring Road in Bel Air on Jan. 31 just before 1:40 p.m., Maryland State Police said. An investigation is underway after a chain-reaction Christmas Eve crash on Long Island involving a drunk driver has left one person critically injured, according to police. The crash happened around 11:35 p.m. Friday, Dec. 24 in Roslyn Heights. That's when Nassau County Police say a 2007 Nissan Pathfinder being operated by a 24-year-old man was traveling southbound on Mineola Boulevard. Woman Hospitalized After SUV Hits Route 287 Divider, Overturns In Morris County
A woman was hospitalized Tuesday morning after her SUV hit a divider and overturned on Route 287 in Morris County, state police said. The woman was behind the wheel of a Toyota RAV4 when she lost control of the vehicle, causing it to hit the divider and overturn in the northbound lanes near milepost 32.7 in Harding Township just after 11 a.m., NJSP Sgt. Philip Curry told Daily Voice. The woman was taken to Morristown Medical Center for treatment of injuries deemed non-life-threatening, Curry said. The cause of the crash remains under investigation.

SUVs Collide In Bogota
Four adults refused medical attention after two SUVs collided Wednesday afternoon in Bogota. A Toyota RAV4 whose driver turned suddenly off River Road onto West Main Street was struck by a Kia Sportage headed in the opposite direction around 1 p.m., responders said. The four occupants were treated by a Holy Name Medical Center Ambulance crew for airbag scrapes. The vehicles had to be towed.

A Long Island man will face life in prison when he is sentenced following his conviction for murdering his coworker during a dispute in 2018 at an auto repair shop. Glen Cove resident Lawrence Grammer, age 74, was convicted by a jury of second-degree murder and criminal possession of a weapon following a fatal shooting at a Glen Head repair shop in August 2018. A 20-year-old man from Trenton has been arrested in connection with a fatal shooting last weekend, authorities said. Tyrell Williams was arrested Thursday afternoon in Trenton by members of the Mercer County Homicide Task Force, according to Mercer County Prosecutor Angelo J. Onofri.
