Twin brothers caught stealing beer assaulted an officer in the Poconos, police announced on Friday, Sept. 13. Xaziver and Gabriel Valle, both 19-year-old Tobyhanna residents were arrested on Thursday, Sept. 12, Mountain Regional Police detailed in the release. Motorcyclist, 26, Killed In Hit-Run Crash Was From Mount Pocono
A 26-year-old motorcyclist from Mount Pocono was killed in a hit-and-run crash in Monroe County, authorities said. The fatal crash occurred at about 11 p.m. Friday, Aug. 16 on State Route 611 at Cayuga Drive in Coolbaugh Township. A Pennsylvania man was arrested in Bergen County, NJ after authorities said he extorted a victim over Snapchat using nude photos. A 46-year-old man from Frostproof, Florida was arrested after state police said they found over a dozen improvised explosive devices in his vehicle. The unnamed man was stopped in Tobyhanna on July 5 and "deemed to be under the influence," according to troopers. Lepore were unearthed at 95 Peet Road in Dreher Township, Wayne County, said the Coroner's Office.
