Perp Who Dumped 100 Tires In CT Town Charged With Illegal Disposal
One of two suspects wanted for allegedly dumping more than 100 tires in a Connecticut town last year has been charged by police.
Fairfield County resident Lavon Spradley, age 22, of Bridgeport, was arrested on Friday, Jan. 26 for the Friday, Dec. 29, 2023, incident in New Haven County in Naugatuck.
An investigation revealed a series of events involving a U-Haul truck and the disposal of tires at multiple locations, the Naugatuck Police said.

Jennifer's Law Passes Senate With Near-Unanimous Support
After more than two years of working with domestic violence survivors, Connecticut State Senator Alex Kasser was celebrating the near-unanimous support of the passage of Senate Bill 1091 aka Jennifer's Law.
The law is named after Jennifer Farber Dulos, of New Canaan, who disappeared in 2019 and whose late husband was charged with her brutal murder, and Jennifer Magnano, of Terryville, Connecticut, who was shot dead by her husband in 2007.
Dulos has never been found.
