A blaze at a Westchester restaurant damaged the building and left part of a busy road closed to traffic. The fire happened on Tuesday morning, Oct. 29, when a blaze broke out at a building housing the Tarry Tavern at 27 Main St. in Tarrytown, according to village officials. The blaze was eventually put out with no injuries thanks to the efforts of the Tarrytown Fire Department and several other agencies from the area, officials said. An SUV driver remains in critical condition after the driver reportedly rear-ended a tractor-trailer on I-87 in Greenburgh. The crash took place around 8:30 p.m., Wednesday, June 26, near Exit 7A in Greenburgh, state police said.
