Time To Get Footloose: Bacon Brothers Bringing Musical Act To Hudson Valley
Move over, Jonas Brothers; the Bacon Brothers are coming to town.
The band, which consists of actor Kevin Bacon and his brother Michael, is set to perform at four different venues across New York as part of their annual summer tour.
“Bound by blood and a mutual love of American roots music, The Bacon Brothers have spent the past quarter-century in a creative whirl, funneling their shared DNA into a genre-bending sound,” reads their website.

Antonio Brown is coming back to Massachusetts to put on a show, but this time he won't be wearing a helmet. The former problem child wide receiver and Patriot for a game is a rapper now, and he'll prove it later this week at a Worcester bar.
Brown, aka Mr. Big Chest, is set to perform at Whiskey on Water Thursday, Sept. 22, at 8:30 p.m. Tickets for the show at the 97 Water Street bar cost $20-$60. DJ Snake, DJ S3N3S3S, and DJ Trent will join him on stage.

North Salem Musician Is 'Unscathed' With New CD
George Mallas, a North Salem resident, unveiled his new cd "unscathed" at a release party earlier this month.
The January 5th event, at The Heights at Brother Vic's in South Salem, also featured the music of other area musicians including David Powers, who produced the album at Starr Ridge Studios in Brewster.
