Police ID Pizza Delivery Driver Killed In Philadelphia Authorities have named the 29-year-old deliveryman shot and killed in Philadelphia on Thursday, June 20.  Danny Matthews of the 2400 block of Harlan Street was pronounced dead at Temple University Hospital, city police said.  He was shot while sitting in the driver's seat of his car on the 2000 block of Ridge Avenue, according to investigators. Authorities said he was the victim of a robbery.  No weapon was recovered from the scene and no arrests had been as of midday Friday, police said. The Homicide Detectives Division is investigating.

Body Found In Wissahickon Creek: Philadelphia Police A man was found dead in the Wissahickon Creek in Philadelphia Tuesday morning, April 16, according to city police.  Authorities said the body was found near the 5000 block of Ridge Avenue around 7 a.m., across from the SEPTA loop.  The remains were those of an unidentified man between 25 and 30, police said. While the body "appears to have been in the water for a while," there was "no visible trauma," they added.
