PA Driver Dies After Hitting Parked Car, Police Say One person is dead after an early-morning car crash in Reading on Thursday, Sept. 21, authorities say.  The driver hit a parked car head-on on the 700 block of Schuylkill Avenue around 2 a.m., according to police.  First responders treated the driver at the scene and rushed them to Reading Hospital where they were later pronounced dead, RPD said.  They have not been identified by police as of late Thursday morning. The crash remains under investigation.

Reading Driver Shot Dead In Car, Suspect On The Run: Police Authorities in the city of Reading are searching for the gunman who shot and killed a man in his car in broad daylight on Friday, July 21.  Ellis Garman Sr., 44, was found in his car on South 6th Street with a gunshot wound around 2:30 p.m., police said in a release. He was taken to Reading Hospital where he succumbed to his wounds, they added.  Now, authorities have named the suspect as 32-year-old Vincent Sanchez. Sanchez is wanted on an arrest warrant and anyone with information is asked to call RPD at 610-655-6116.
