ShopRite Store Coming To Central Jersey Hiring For Hundreds Of Positions
About 300 jobs are being created thanks to the arrival of a new ShopRite in Old Bridge.
The new ShopRite is located in the Glenwood Green Shopping Center at Route 9 and Schulmeister Road.
The store is set to open in March.
Hiring is taking place for all positions including department managers, butchers, deli, bakery, dairy, produce and seafood associates, customer service associates, cashiers and baggers.

Some South Jersey school districts are canceling classes or delaying the start of school before a winter storm that's expected on Tuesday, Feb. 13.

Man Killed After Cars Strikes Trailer At Home Depot In Central Jersey
A 55-year-old man from Middlesex County was killed when his car collided with a trailer parked at Home Depot, authorities said.
On Thursday, Feb. 1, 2024, at about 10:20 a.m., Old Bridge police responded to the Home Depot located on Route 9 South following a report of a crash.
Police found a 1999 Chevrolet Malibu which had collided with a parked trailer.
The Chevy Malibu was driven by Allen Szcus, of Kendall Park, police said.
Szcus, the sole occupant of the vehicle, was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.

A 21-year-old driver was sentenced to 12 years in New Jersey State Prison for a fatal crash during a police chase, authorities said.
