An election poll worker is accused of threatening a voter and fighting with police at a polling place on Long Island.
The incident happened in Oceanside, at Oaks School #3 on Fortesque Avenue, shortly after 3 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 5.
Nassau County Police said Mark Sebesta, age 54, of Baldwin, was serving as a poll worker when he got into an argument with a 25-year-old male voter. He is accused of threatening the man.

5 Men Nabbed On Gun Charges In Wallkill During Traffic Stop, Police Say
Five people were charged with allegedly having loaded weapons during a Hudson Valley traffic stop.
The incident occurred in Orange County around 3:40 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 25, in Wallkill.
According to Lt. Robert McLymore of the Wallkill Police, the department, along with the New York State Police, performed a vehicle stop at Exit 116 on Route 17, which led to the arrest of five of the five suspects.
A subsequent investigation resulted in the recovery of three loaded firearms, McLymore said.

A woman is in custody after a violent confrontation with responding officers at a Long Island residence, according to police.
The incident happened around 3:30 p.m. Sunday, July 28, in Elmont.
The officers responded to the Belmont Boulevard residence for a disturbance.
Upon arrival, they were informed that Zaire Steele, age 18, of Elmont, was involved in a verbal argument with another female in the residence, Nassau County Police said.

Nassau County Police were called about a disturbance at the Planet Fitness in Merrick, located on Merrick Road, shortly before 8 p.m. Sunday, July 21.
