The number of active COVID-19 cases in Westchester has topped 11,400, according to the county's Department of Health on Tuesday, Jan. 12.
Health officials in Westchester are currently monitoring 11,419 active COVID-19 cases, up from 11,265 the day before as the number of cases across the county continues to spike. Late last week, there were less than 10,000 active cases under investigation.

There are now more than 1,500 active COVID-19 cases in Ulster and Sullivan counties as the numbers continue to spike to record highs.
In Ulster County, the state Department of Health was reporting that there were 39 newly confirmed cases, with 13 in Sullivan County in the past 24 hours as the second wave of the virus sweeps through the Hudson Valley.
There are now 1,476 active COVID-19 cases in Ulster on Tuesday, Dec. 8, up from 835 on Friday, Dec. 4, with 123 in Sullivan, down from 137.
