Meet Actor Tim Matheson, Star Of 'Animal House', 'West Wing' In Ridgewood
Tim Matheson, who starred in the comedy classic "Animal House" is ready to tell his story.
Matheson is signing copies of his new book, "Damn Glad to Meet You" at Bookends in Ridgewood on Wednesday, Nov. 13 at 6 p.m.
In his seven-decade career, Matheson has worked in both movies and TV, and tells stories about working with Lucille Ball, Dick Van Dyke, Steven Spielberg, and Aaron Sorkin, according to a synopsis.

Kathryn Bigelow, the director behind movies like "The Hurt Locker," "Point Break" and "Zero Dark Thirty" is filming a new movie in Newark and your children can be a part of it.
The untitled Netflix project is looking for girls ages 12 to 16 to play basketball players in a scene that shoots in Newark from Wednesday, Oct. 23 to Thursday, Oct. 24, according to a casting notice.

Ten years later, he may just be the coolest teacher alive, too.
The Union High School teacher surprised his students with Paul Rudd, the magazine's Sexiest Man Alive in 2021, during a field trip to the NJ Hall of Fame on Tuesday, Oct. 1.
Ferroni works closely with the NJ Hall of Fame, having interviewed inductees, such as Danny DeVito. While organizing the field trip, one of the officials mentioned that Rudd was going to be there that day.

Tanya Smakula Garcia, of Telford, formerly of Sellersville, died on Tuesday, Aug. 13, at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, according to an obituary published by Anders-Detweiler Funeral Home. She was 38 years old.

John F. Marchuk, Jr., of Vineland, died on Feb. 7, according to an obituary published by DeMarco-Luisi Funeral Home. He was 33 years old.
Johnny was a graduate of Vineland High School Class of 2010, his obituary said. He studied cosmetology at Cumberland County Technical Education Center and worked as a barber in various local barbershops in Vineland.

Sussex County high school graduate, singer and movie blogger Matthew R. Epperly died May 13 from a brain hemorrhage at the age of 24.
Born at Newton Hospital, Epperly graduated from High Point Regional High School, where he participated in theater and chorus, his obituary says.
Epperly was known for his love of music, theater and movies and ran a movie review blog, his memorial says.
In addition to running his blog, Epperly worked at a theater in Matamoras, PA, and had a second job at the Ross's Corner Quik Chek at the time of his death, according to his obit.
