Disbarred Long Island Attorney Arrested (Again), Allegedly Stole Over $20,000 From Client: DA
The man, who had previously been sentenced for stealing from two separate clients, has now been accused of repeating the crime after he was disbarred.
Manhasset resident Alfred DiGirolomo, Jr., age 67, was arraigned on Tuesday, April 25 for allegedly practicing law without authorization and stealing thousands of dollars from his client, Nassau County District Attorney Anne T. Donnelly announced.
This is not the first time DiGirolomo has been arraigned – in March 2021, he was sentenced to time in prison for similar charges.

Ny-based LLC Claims $10M Lottery Prize
A Limited Liability Company that is based on Long Island has claimed a $10 million lottery prize.
KCCK Holdings, a Manhasset-based LLC, won the top prize from New York Lottery's "$10,000,000 Bonus" scratch-off game, the lottery announced on Thursday, Dec. 15.
The LLC received the prize as single, lump-sum payment of $6,510,000 after required withholdings, NY Lottery reported.
NY Lottery said the winning ticket was purchased at the 7-Eleven that is located at 158 Woodbury Road in Hicksville.
Duo Busted Selling Heroin, Meth At Long Island Macy's Store, Police Say
Two people are facing charges for allegedly selling drugs at a Long Island business.
Jamil Dabson, age 36, and Violet Speller, age 30, both of Far Rockaway, were arrested Thursday, Nov. 3, following a narcotics investigation by Nassau County Police.
Officers busted the pair at around 10:40 p.m. at the Macy’s store in Manhasset, located on Northern Boulevard, police said.
Further investigation turned up additional quantities of heroin and crystal methamphetamine, according to police.

Lehigh Valley Native, T-Mobile Customer Service Technician Dies After Brief Illness, 38
Lehigh Valley native and T-Mobile customer service technician Thomas Andrew Nazzaro died at St. Luke’s Hospital - Anderson Campus, Easton after a brief illness on Thursday, Sept. 1. He was 38.
Born in Manhasset, NY, Thomas grew up in Bangor, where he graduated from Bangor High School in 2003, his obituary says.
Thomas worked as a Customer Service Technician at T-Mobile. He enjoyed driving his Jeep, going to the firing range with his Dad and spending time with his family members and numerous friends.
Thomas was a dedicated member of Life Church in Nazareth, his obituary says.
