Dr. Ishtiaq Malik, 59, of Lanham, was convicted earlier this year by a jury for targeting patients in his care at the Advanced Walk-In Urgent Care at 10800 Lockwood Drive in Silver Spring, where he was arrested last year.

Orange County resident Chauncey Smith, age 23, of Pine Bush, was sentenced on Tuesday, July 16, to three to nine years in prison in connection with the Monday, August 14, 2023 crash, said Orange County District Attorney David M. Hoovler.

Two men have been found guilty and sentenced to years in state prison for a violent home invasion in Westchester County.
Trejuan Deas, age 26, and Joshua Emanuel, age 21, both of the Bronx, were sentenced Friday, April 15 for the 2020 home invasion in Yonkers, said Westchester District Attorney Miriam E. Rocah.
