Ex-Corrections Officer Brings 'Ghost Gun' Into Capital Region Business
A former corrections officer is facing years behind bars for attempting to bring a so-called ghost gun into a business in the region.
Timothy Feldman, age 22, pleaded guilty to criminal possession of a weapon in Saratoga County Court on Tuesday, Oct. 17, stemming from an arrest in July 2023.
According to prosecutors, a bouncer at a Saratoga Springs bar caught Feldman, a former Schoharie County Corrections Officer, with a gun as he entered the business early on July 23, 2023.

With help from a Crime Stoppers tip, narcotics investigators nabbed a multi-time convicted Fairfield County felon with an alleged illegal gun.
The incident took place in Stamford on Wednesday, Oct. 11 in the area of Main and Clinton Avenues.

A woman is facing multiple charges after police allegedly found a half dozen illegal guns inside her home in the region where children were present.
Albany County resident Ramona Orr, age 42, of the hamlet of Selkirk, was arrested Thursday, Oct. 5, on eight felony charges, according to Bethlehem Police.
Officers were called to Orr’s home at around 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 3, when Child Protective Services requested assistance with a welfare check after receiving a report that numerous weapons were inside the house.

Orange County resident Tyshawn Milligan, of Middletown, was sentenced on Thursday, Sept. 7 to eight years in prison and five years of post-release supervision following the plea, said Orange County District Attorney David M. Hoovler.
