A deadly crash that killed a mathematics professor riding his bike in a marked lane has now led to criminal charges, prosecutors announced.
Kali Poole, 18, of Collingdale, is charged after striking Eduard “Teddy” Einstein while he was cycling in Upper Darby, according to a release issued Tuesday, May 5, by Delaware County District Attorney Tanner Rouse.
Einstein, 38, died after the Dec. 3 crash at West Providence Road and East Penn Pines Boulevard in Pennsylvania, authorities said.
