Man Caught On Video Trying To Go Into Woman’s Watertown Home After Following Her
A woman’s doorbell camera captured the scary moment she was followed by a man who then tried to get into a home she was staying at in Watertown. The woman arrived home on Laurel Street shortly after 3:30 a.m. on Sunday, Dec. 10, when the man followed her and hid behind one of the cars parked in the driveway, according to Watertown police. Once the woman was inside her home, a security camera caught the man trying to break into both the front and back doors. Police said no one was harmed during the breaking and entering, and they are now asking the public for help in identifying the man. …

Illinois Peeping Tom Peered Into Bucks County Homes, Police Say
Authorities in Upper Southampton say they have arrested the man who was peering into area homes early this month. Sergei Dvoriannikov, 41, of Vernon Hills, Illinois, is charged with two counts of loitering and prowling, both misdemeanors, according to township police. Investigators said previously that a peeping Tom was spotted on Cushmore Road and recorded by a resident's home security system. Fearless Bergen Burglars Continue Rash Of Brazen Break-Ins
Local police departments in Bergen County have been comparing notes amid a rising wave of brazen home burglaries. Norristown police are warning residents to stay vigilant after a string of overnight break-ins at area homes. Six houses were burglarized from Nov. 4 to Nov. 12 between 2 a.m. and 6:30 a.m., investigators said. Here's Percentage Of New Yorkers Worried About Becoming Crime Victims, New Poll Finds
More than half of New Yorkers fear they may become a victim of a crime, a new Siena College poll finds. The poll, released Wednesday, July 12, found that 61 percent of state residents are either very (21 percent) or somewhat (40 percent) worried about becoming a crime victim. Researchers also found that 51 percent of New Yorkers have been worried about their safety, or their family’s safety, in public places. Triple Murder: 3 Elderly Residents Found Stabbed To Death In Newton
The Middlesex District Attorney is asking residents in Newton to be on alert after three "elderly" residents were found murdered in a home on Broadway Street on Sunday morning, June 25, authorities said.
