A Tullytown man will spend up to six years in prison for a Falls woman's 2021 overdose death, the Bucks County District Attorney's Office said Friday, May 3.
Steven Frederick Yard Jr., 32, pleaded guilty in January to involuntary manslaughter, reckless endangerment, and related counts, prosecutors said.
Authorities say Mary Coyle, 39, was found dead at 100 Yardley Avenue on Nov. 16, 2021. Yard was found "actively overdosing" on the floor nearby, according to the DA's Office.

A Philadelphia man was sentenced to decades in prison for selling fentanyl-laced drugs to a Chester County man, which resulted in his overdose, authorities announced Friday.
Jamal Keys, 43, will face 18 to 36 years behind bars for the March 2019 heroin overdose death of a 34-year-old man in Paoli, according to Chester County District Attorney's Office.
Keys was found guilty by a jury in July 2021 of drug delivery resulting in death, possession with intent to deliver, criminal conspiracy, and criminal use of a communication facility.

A Jersey Shore couple was jailed in connection with an overdose heroin/fentanyl death of a 16-year-old boy last month, authorities said.
David Belk, 45, and Stephanie O’Neill, 44, both of Little Egg Harbor, have been charged with strict liability, endangering the welfare of a child, and drug related charges, Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley D. Billhimer and Captain James Hawkins said.

Fairfield County Drug Dealer Sentenced For Overdose Death, DEA Says
A 43-year-old man has pleaded guilty in connection with the heroin overdose death of a 27-year-old woman.
Talvin Hinton, of Bridgeport, has been sentenced to five years in prison and four years post-release monitoring following his plea, said DEA Bridgeport.
The incident took place on Sept. 23, 2017, when the Stratford Police Department responded to the report of a fatal overdose, the DEA said.
Following the woman's death, the DEA, along with the Stratford Police Department conducted an investigation into the woman's death.
