A man suffered a head injury and was hospitalized after crashing a motorized scooter on Long Island, police announced. Manhattan resident Xavier Hernandez was driving a Zero 11X electric scooter southbound on Groton Lane in Coram at approximately 5:20 p.m. on Sunday, April 18 when he lost control and fell off the scooter. According to Suffolk County police, Hernandez, age 51, slipped off the scooter and hit his head, prompting a call to paramedics. ATV Operator Airlifted In Warren County Crash
An ATV operator was airlifted to a local hospital after a crash in Warren County Monday afternoon, state police said. The man sustained a head injury after crashing into a pole while traveling near 130 Knowlton Road in Columbia just after 1:35 p.m., Sgt. Philip Curry told Daily Voice. The rider was conscious when troopers arrived and was flown to St. Luke’s in Bethlehem, PA, Curry said.

A woman was airlifted to a local hospital with a head injury after her boat ran aground on the Jersey Shore. The woman hit her head on the 32-foot Boston Whaler boat during the 2 a.m. crash off the coast of Stafford Saturday, NJSP officials said. She was flown to an area hospital for treatment.
