Maryland Dad Killed In Wrong Way Tractor Trailer Crash On I-83 In PA
A fatal crash is now known to have been caused by a tractor-trailer going the wrong way on Interstate 83 in York County, Pennsylvania, authorities explained late on Monday night. Hendry Tamarez Nunez, 47, of the 800 block of Showell Court, Baltimore, Maryland has been identified as the man who died at the scene of the crash, York County Coroner Pam Gay said. Disaster was averted in Prince George's County when two cars crashed at an area gas station and went up in flames. Traffic was tied up in Northern Maryland on Friday afternoon when a dump truck overturned on Mountain Road at the ramp to southbound I-95. HAZMAT: Tainted Substance Sickens Newark Bank Workers
A possible HazMat situation was reported at a Newark bank Tuesday, May 2 when a man handed the teller tainted cash, authorities said. The Wells Fargo Bank on Lyons Avenue was evacuated around 12:10 p.m., when the teller and other employees said they had been feeling sick. Chicken Waste Spill Causes HazMat Situation Along South Jersey Highway
A trailer hauling chicken waste products crashed, spilling its contents all over Route 55 and causing a HazMat situation in Gloucester County on Monday, Feb. 27. The northbound side of the roadway was closed in Deptford from mile marker 59.2 to the Route 42 interchange following the 9 a.m. crash. The roadway had reopened as of 1:45 p.m., but crews were still on scene for cleanup. HazMat crews, the New Jersey State Police, NJDOT, and multiple fire departments were on scene. Environmental services were notified and were monitoring the incident. No injuries were reported.
