Winning Powerball Ticket Worth $50K Sold At This White Plains Gas Station A visitor to a Westchester gas station walked away with a lottery ticket worth tens of thousands of dollars.  The third-prize-winning Powerball ticket, worth $50,000, was sold in White Plains for the drawing on Monday, Oct. 21, New York Lottery officials announced.  Officials added that the ticket was purchased at a Gulf gas station at 750 North Broadway (Route 22). The winning numbers were 01 25 57 62 64 with a Powerball number of 15.  The name of the lucky winner was not made public.

The identity of the winner was not released.  For those looking to try their luck, Take 5 drawings are televised twice a day at 2:30 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. Prizes can be claimed up to a year after the drawing date.

Man Busted For Armed Gas Station Robbery In Area, Police Say A 31-year-old man has been arrested in connection with a gas station armed robbery in the area. Orange County resident Andre McGriff, of Newburgh, was arrested by the Town of Newburgh Police for the Feb. 5, armed robbery of the Mobil Gas Station on South Plank Road, said Lt. James Nenni.
