‘Sweet, Kind Soul:’ Erik Eckert Of Phillipsburg Dies, 34
Tributes are pouring in for Phillipsburg native Erik W. Eckert, who died Monday, Oct. 23 at the age of 34.
Born in Livingston, Erik graduated from Phillipsburg High School in 2006 and had worked in sales at a travel company, his obituary says.
Erik loved football, especially rooting for the Green Bay Packers. He channeled his creativity by attending concerts, most recently, Pantera and Metallica, his memorial says.
He also had a softer side that gave him a passion for animals and children.
Above all, Erik leaves a legacy as a “sweet, kind soul who was willing to help anyone.”

Westchester resident Pasquale Palumbo, age 45, of Hawthorne, made his show debut on Thursday, April 8, and walked off the set with $6,799, and a chance to win again on Friday, April 9. The latest episode will be broadcast at 7 p.m. Friday on WABC-TV (Channel 7).

Anthony F. Milea of White Plains died on Monday, March 5. He was 27 years old.
He leaves behind his parents, Andrea and Robert; his sister Kristen; and his love, Caily. Anthony is also survived by his grandmother, Noreen Milea, and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Growing up, Anthony was always an energetic child who lit up the room. From being a diehard Green Bay Packers fan since the age of 5, to becoming utterly obsessed with golf, Anthony had a great passion for sports and was a relentless competitor.
