6 Employees Busted Selling Restricted Products To Minors At Long Island Businesses, Police Say
Six employees are facing charges after allegedly selling restricted products to minors at Long Island businesses.
All six workers were arrested during compliance checks that were conducted at several Suffolk County businesses on Tuesday, May 30, according to Suffolk County Police.
Of the 11 businesses checked, investigators said employees at the following stores were busted selling e-cigarettes, cannabis products, or alcohol to underage customers:

Police Seek Public's Help After Sports Memorabilia Stolen From Fort Salonga Home
Authorities are searching for leads after sports memorabilia was stolen from a Long Island home last year.
A Fort Salonga residence located on Greentree Court was burglarized sometime between July 8, 2021, and July 11, 2021, while the homeowner was out of town, Suffolk County Crime Stoppers said in an announcement on Wednesday, Dec. 7.
Collectible football cards, five-ounce silver state coins, and American Eagle silver dollars were among the items stolen, authorities said.
Crime Stoppers said two handguns were also stolen, but they were later recovered.

57-Year-Old From Northport Killed After Crashing Into Pole In Fort Salonga
Police on Long Island are investigating after a man was killed in a single-vehicle crash after being ejected and landing in a nearby creek.
John Burke, age 57, was killed in Fort Salonga around 2:30 a.m., Monday, Sept. 12.
According to the Suffolk County Police, Burke, of Northport, was driving a 2019 Nissan Rogue westbound on Route 25A when he lost control of the vehicle, which struck a pole at Sunken Meadow Road.
The vehicle came to a rest on its side, off the roadway, and Burke was ejected from the vehicle into a nearby creek, police said.

Two Men Reported Missing Found Dead In Long Island Sound
An investigation is underway surrounding the deaths of two men reported missing who were later found dead in the Long Island Sound.
Police said the bodies were found Wednesday, June 2 at around 6 a.m. in Suffolk County, off Eatons Neck.
Roberto Guevarra, age 36, and Roberto Murillo, age 60, both of Huntington Station, were reported missing at approximately 9:20 p.m. on Tuesday, June 1 after they failed to return from a fishing trip in the Long Island Sound, Suffolk County Police said.

A Long Island woman walking home was killed after she was struck by a Mercedes-Benz driven by her husband, who was backing out of the driveway, police say.
It happened at about 7:30 a.m. Monday, Dec. 2 in Fort Salonga, Suffolk County Police said.
After walking her grandchild to the bus stop, Nancy Richard, 79, was returning to her home on Concord Drive when she was struck by a 2015 Mercedes S550, driven by her husband, Peter Richard, who was backing out of their driveway, according to police.
