Two firefighters were injured at the scene of a house fire in York County. on Friday, Feb. 24, 2023, authorities say.
Crews were called to the fire at a home in the 3200 block of Patridge Drive in Dover Township around 2:30 p.m., according to emergency dispatchers.
The homeowner and two dogs got out safely but another dog, a cat, and a rabbit died, according to Dover Township fire officials.

Massive Three-Alarm Fire Breaks Out At Historic Building In Connecticut
A massive blaze broke out at a historic building in Connecticut which was once a hotel, displacing residents and injuring at least three firefighters.
The three-alarm fire started in in Litchfield County, in the Town of New Hartford, around 2:30 a.m., Tuesday, Aug. 10, on the third floor and the roof of the building at 4 Bridge St., Jon Barbagallo, public information officer for Norfolk said.
According to Barbagallo, 75 to 100 first responders are on the scene and to work as stand-by units.

A midday car fire outside a Long Island hotel rapidly spread to many other vehicles, destroying at least 25 of them.
Members of the Melville Volunteer Fire Department responded at approximately 2:45 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 24, to the Huntington Hilton on Broadhollow Road, where there was a reported car fire.
