Second Arrest Made In Deadly Allentown Nightclub Shooting
A second man has been charged in connection with the deadly shooting outside an Allentown nightclub that killed 32-year-old Ivan Diaz Jr. and injured three others, authorities announced on Saturday, Feb. 8.
Pedro Junior Paulino, 35, of Allentown, surrendered to police and is charged with Criminal Homicide, three counts of Attempted Murder, three counts of Aggravated Assault, Person Not to Use or Possess a Firearm, Firearms Not to be Carried Without a License – Prior Conviction, and Recklessly Endangering Another Person, according to Lehigh County District Attorney Gavin P. A gun turned up at a security checkpoint at Newark Airport during what was the TSA's ninth all-time busiest day screening travelers there, authorities said.
The 9mm handgun, which wasn't loaded, was spotted at a checkpoint X-ray machine in Terminal C on Sunday, June 25, the Transportation Security Administration's Lisa Farbstein said.

Stamford police nabbed a 25-year-old man with a long rap sheet with a 40-caliber pistol at the Red Carpet Inn.
Joshua Hinton, of Stratford, was arrested Thursday, July 19, after officers with the Narcotics and Organized Crime Squad received intel that he planned to visit the motel with the gun, said Stamford Police Capt. Richard Conklin.

Suspect Nabbed For 2016 Murder In Fairfield County Drug Deal Gone Bad
Bridgeport police arrested a juvenile for his role in the 2016 murder of teenager Shane Slinsky, according to Av Harris, the Bridgeport police spokesman.
The unidentified Stamford juvenile was charged with felony murder, murder, conspiracy to commit robbery, larceny and carrying a pistol without a permit, Harris said.
He is being held on $1 million bond.
“An additional arrest is expected shortly,” Harris added.
