Fleeing Driver Hits Denville Officer, Arrested At Costco: Police
A 27-year-old Denville man was arrested and charged after he struck a police officer while fleeing on Sunday, Oct. 20, authorities said.
While officers were conducting a traffic stop on Indian Road, it was discovered the driver, Liam Harrigan, had an active NCIC Warrant out of the Morris County Prosecutor's Office, Denville police said.
As officers attempted to take Harrigan into custody, he fled from them in his vehicle, police said. While fleeing, Harrigan struck a Denville police officer, leaving him with minor injuries, authorities said.

Paterson Car Thief Bails On Fort Lee Friend After Pursuit-Crash In Pompton Lakes: Police
Two car thieves were in custody after the driver led a pursuit and crashed, leaving his pal at the scene in Morris County this week, police said.
On Wednesday, Sept. 4 around 1:45 a.m., Pompton Lakes Patrolman Collins was on duty when he spotted a 2023 Toyota Corolla that had been reported stolen the night before, police said in a news release.
The vehicle was occupied by two individuals later identified as Dakota Cirelli, 24, of Paterson and Dilayda Aksoy, 22, of Fort Lee, and fled toward Watervliet and Albany avenues when they noticed police were after them.

PA Man Charged After Pursuit Leads To Death Of Vietnam Vet From Hackettstown: Prosecutor
A 32-year-old Pennsylvania man has been charged after a police pursuit led to the death of a motorcyclist, a Vietnam War veteran, in Warren County on Tuesday, Aug. 13, authorities said.
At 10:19 a.m., a New Jersey State Trooper began following an SUV on Route 80 eastbound and initiated a traffic stop, the Warren County Prosecutor's Office said.
The driver of the SUV, Sean Mamakas, a Kempton, PA resident, continued traveling eastbound, exiting the interstate at Exit 12 and headed toward County Road 521 southbound in Hope Township, authorities said.

A man wanted in a North Bergen shooting robbery has been arrested in Paramus, police said.
Steven Castro, 22, was driving a U-Haul van when he was tracked down in the parking lot of the Route 17 Home Depot in Paramus Monday, June 24, sources with direct knowledge tell Daily Voice.

Teen Arrested After Pursuit Leads To Officer Injury In Montclair, Police Say
A 16-year-old was arrested in Montclair on Saturday, May 18, after a police pursuit led to an officer being injured, authorities said.
At 6:52 a.m., officers received a complaint of people hiding behind vehicles in a parking lot at 50 Greenwood Ave, Montclair police said. Both vehicles, a white Range Rover and a silver Kia Optima, left the parking lot as police arrived, officers said.
The Kia Optima was revealed to have been stolen from East Orange earlier that day, police said. Officers attempted to stop vehicles but they refused and a pursuit was initiated at Greenwood Avenue and Glā¦
