DUI Driver Charged In Crash In Berks County
A 37-year-old driver was charged with drunken driving after a crash in Berks County, authorities said on Wednesday, Aug. 14.
On June 19, at 4:40 a.m., Spring Township Police received a call for a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of Van Reen Road and Stevens Avenue, Spring Township police said.
Thaddeus Keich, the operator of the striking vehicle, showed signs of impairment, police said.
After an investigation, Keich was charged with DUI.
He also passed through a stop sign, according to court records.
A preliminary hearing has been set for Aug. 29.
Driver In Fatal Chicopee Crash Under Influence At Time Of Wreck: Police
A Hampshire County man was drunk when he crashed into a vehicle in Chicopee, killing the driver and injuring the passenger, authorities said in an update.
Andrew Wilkins, 37, of South Hadley, was charged with operating under the influence of alcohol, Chicopee police said on Tuesday, July 30.
Police were called to a two-car crash on Memorial Drive Thursday night, July 25. Wilkins was attempting to leave the scene when they arrived, authorities said.

Three years after a Mysterstown mom died in a crash, the driver who caused it has been convicted, the Lebanon County District Attorney's Office announced on Feb. 21.

A Stafford man was arrested after he caused a crash while drunk driving, police said.
At around 4:30 p.m., on August 5, Alexander Stone, 26, crashed into the back of a van on Blue and Gray Parkway and Kings Highway, according to the Stafford County Sheriff's Office.
Police said the Stone caused significant damage to the van and the driver was taken to the hospital for minor injuries.
