Five suspects were arrested with drugs and a handgun during a surveillance operation in Atlantic City, authorities said.
On Tuesday, Nov. 1, at approximately 7:40 p.m., Atlantic City police conducted a surveillance operation in the area of 1700 block of Atlantic Avenue.
During this operation, Sergeant Christopher LoDico observed several individuals loitering in the area and taking part in several suspected illegal narcotics transactions, police said.

Citizen complaints about alleged drug-dealing activities led to the arrest of six people in Pleasantville, authorities said.
The arrests followed a warranted search at 132 North First St., police said.
Arrested were Messiah Burton, 19, of Pleasantville; Edwin Eaton, 45, of Pleasantville; Natalie Camagna, 39, of Pleasantville; Satrina Watson, 55, of Egg Harbor City; Ronald Holloway, 51, of Atlantic City; and Daniel Ravese, 36, of Somers Point.

UPDATE: A 16-year-old Washington Township boy hung onto a fleeing vehicle and was thrown, suffering severe injuries, in a drug ripoff, authorities confirmed Friday.
The 17-year-old driver, also from the township, was quickly taken into custody following Monday night's incident, Acting Bergen County Prosecutor Dennis Calo said.
