A 3-year-old boy who was found unresponsive in a swimming pool in Northampton County has died from complications of drowning, Lehigh County Coroner Daniel A. Buglio announced Friday, July 11.
Colonial Regional Police were dispatched to a home in Northampton County around 10 a.m. on Thursday, July 3, 2025, after receiving reports of a young boy drowning, according to the release.
Emergency crews removed the child from the pool and performed CPR before transporting him to Lehigh Valley Hospital–Cedar Crest, authorities said.

A 14-year-old boy has died after drowning in a Pennsylvania creek earlier this month, officials confirmed.
Christopher Roldan-Solis, of Allentown, was pronounced dead at 6:18 a.m. on Friday, June 20, at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Cedar Crest, according to the Lehigh County Coroner’s Office.
An autopsy was completed that day. The cause of death is complications of drowning and the manner of death is accidental, the coroner said.

Nissequogue Swimmer, 63, Drowns: Police
A Long Island man died after being pulled from the water in Nissequogue, police said.
Eric Soloff, 63, of Nissequogue, was found unresponsive off Long Beach Road on Sunday, June 8, around 6:41 p.m., according to the Suffolk County Police Department.
Officers from the Fourth Precinct and the Marine Bureau had responded to a 911 call about a swimmer in distress. Soloff was pulled from the water a short time later, police said.
