A 38-year-old man was arrested and charged on Saturday, Oct. 26, after he was discovered to be in possession of heroin and methamphetamine in Denville, authorities said. Officers responded to the Sunoco gas station at 161 Route 46 for a report of a man, later identified as Shekeab Shroff, in a silver Porsche impaired, Denville police said. Driver, 19, Killed On Route 80 After Rear-Ending Box Truck In Denville: Police
A 19-year-old driver was killed in an early-morning Route 80 crash when he rear-ended a box truck stopped in the shoulder, authorities said. Cameron Ray, of Flanders, was heading west in a Subrau when he rear-ended the truck near milepost 38.2 in Denville around 5:40 a.m., New Jersey State Police Sgt. Charles Marchan said. Ray died as a result of the crash while the box truck driver suffered minor injuries. The crash remains under investigation, and no additional information is available.

A 28-year-old Morristown man was arrested and charged on Wednesday, Aug. 28 with assaulting a healthcare worker at a hospital in Denville, authorities said.
