A 9-year-old girl was airlifted to an Essex County hospital after being burned by a hot cup of instant noodles in Bergen County on Monday, Sept. 30. Elderly Man Killed In West Orange House Fire: Police
A senior citizen was killed in a West Orange house fire on Tuesday morning, Dec. 12, police said. West Orange police and fire responded to 30 Park Drive South at 10:30 a.m. and reported heavy smoke and fire in the structure, police said. The victim, whose name has not been released, was removed from the residence and taken to Cooperman-Barnabas Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead an hour later, police.
