A $71.96 million refinancing deal has been arranged for The Hazel, a 201-unit luxury apartment community in Jersey City, officials said.
JLL Capital Markets arranged the refinancing on behalf of the borrower, Alpine Residential, securing a five-year, fixed-rate balance sheet loan through Truist Bank, according to the announcement Monday, Dec. 15.

A man killed in a Jersey City apartment fire has been identified, and three children and a woman remain in critical condition, authorities said in an updated press release Thursday, May 1.
Lahcen Elmguielle, 59, of Jersey City, was pronounced dead at Jersey City Medical Center following a fire at 296 Summit Ave. on Thursday, May 1, according to Hudson County Prosecutor Esther Suarez.
