The parents of a Pennsylvania child who died from a drug overdose late last year are facing charges of involuntary manslaughter and related counts, says the Chester County District Attorney's Office.
Jason Moore, 36, and Amanda Moore, 35, surrendered to police on Friday, Aug. 11 and were each remanded to the county lockup in lieu of their $250,000 bonds, authorities said in a release.
In a criminal complaint cited by prosecutors, police said they were called to the Moores' Caln Township home to find an unresponsive 4-year-old around 10:50 a.m. on Nov. 29 last year.

Three teenagers are hospitalized with bullet wounds after two separate shootings unfolded back-to-back late on Monday, June 19, say authorities.
The first shooting was in Kensington, on the 2200 block of Amber Street, city police told Daily Voice.
Officers arrived around 10 p.m. and found an 18-year-old man with two bullet wounds to the abdomen, they said. He was taken to Temple University Hospital where his condition was stabilized, according to police.

The driver accused of hitting a woman and child with his car in Center City Philadelphia then fleeing the scene is now in police custody, city authorities told Daily Voice.
Dominique Murphy, 37, of West Philadelphia, is charged with vehicular homicide, involuntary manslaughter, aggravated assault by vehicle, and several realted counts, the department said.
