A man shot by two Connecticut police officers has been charged with alleged attempted assault on a police officer after his release from the hospital.
New Haven County resident Kyle O’Creene, age 24, of Naugatuck, was arrested on Tuesday, May 7, in Naugatuck.
His arrest warrant stems from an incident that occurred on Thursday, April 25, around 9:15 a.m., when the Naugatuck Police Department received a 911 call that there was a man with a knife at Baummer’s Pond Park acting erratically, the department said.

Christopher Graham, age 38, of Shelton, was captured on Wednesday, April 24, for the incident on Tuesday, April 23, at a Walnut Tree Hill Road home.
According to Det. Christopher Nugent of the Shelton Police, officers, and EMS were called to the home for a report of a stabbing and assault of a 35-year-old woman.

Robber Cuts Hole In Man's Pants To Steal Cash, ATM Card, Phone: Boston Police
A man with a knife allegedly stole a man’s phone, money, and ATM card by cutting a hole in his pants on Monday night, Nov. 20, Boston police said.
Brandon Frazier, 36, of East Boston, pulled a knife on the man and demanded money from him at 406 Meridian St. shortly before 7 p.m., according to the Boston Police Department.
When the man refused to give him money, Frazier cut a hole in the man’s pants and grabbed the cash, an ATM card, and a cell phone.
Frazier held the knife to the man’s throat and demanded his PIN, police said.

A man and woman involved in a neighbor dispute in Fairfield County ended up threatening each other with machetes as the fight escalated.
The incident took place in Bridgeport on Sunday, Sept. 17 on the 200 block of Willow Street.

Billy Pettway, of Bridgeport, was arrested around 11:30 p.m., Thursday, Feb. 3, at the State Street YMCA in Bridgeport.

Man Charged In Violent Assaults Of Mother Of His Son In Stamford
An undocumented Haitian man is behind bars for several brutal assaults on his girlfriend after she attempted to break up with him.
Waking Noel, 34, of Seaton Road, Stamford, is being held in lieu of a $100,000 after he was charged with assaulting the mother of his two-year-old child in February, said Sgt. Jennifer Lynch.
"He punched, kicked, hit and seriously injured the woman on two occasions," Lynch said.
