The victim was transported by Philadelphia Fire Department medics to Jefferson University Hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 8:12 p.m., authorities said. Man Killed In Morris County Car Crash ID'ed: Police Police have identified the 65-year-old Morris Plains man who was killed after his car crashed into a tree on the morning of Tuesday, Feb. 6. At 10 a.m., a vehicle, driven by John McTernan, traveling south on Littleton Road near Route 202 struck a tree in the area of Totten Way, Morris Plains police said. No other vehicles were involved, police said. McTernan was transported to Morristown Medical Center where he was pronounced dead, police said. The crash remains under investigation, police said.
