Fugitive Wanted, Two Arrested In 2016 Black Friday Killing Of Air Guardsman In South Jersey
Two Egg Harbor City men were arrested and a third man was wanted in a deadly shooting outside a mall on Black Friday in 2016, authorities said.
Steven Martinez, 30, and Timothy Davis, 27, were charged on Wednesday, Aug. 7 with murder, conspiracy to commit murder, and weapons offenses, the Atlantic County Prosecutor's Office said in a news release on Monday, Aug. 12. Malik Boone, 30, also from Egg Harbor City, was wanted on the same charges.

A school board trustee in Warren County crossed the line in trying to have her child's bullying suspension revoked, according to a state ethics board.
Lisa Moyer, a member of the board of education in Allamuchy Township, violated several sections of the school ethics board, after her child was suspended for harassment, intimidation and bullying in 2022, the School Ethics Commission ruled. The board recommended Moyer be reprimanded for her actions in a ruling released in April.
Moyer, however, says she was just trying to defend her son.

A 15-year-old boy known for dressing up as Spider-Man thought he was meeting new friends at a park in the region but was instead physically assaulted by a classmate.

Community members are rallying to support the family of a 14-year-old Danbury boy who was paralyzed after a suicide attempt.
The support is coming in the form of a GoFundMe page, which has raised thousands of dollars so far to benefit the family of Higor Santos, who attempted suicide by jumping off of a bridge in Danbury on Sunday, Oct. 16, 2022.
