Hit-Run: Stratford Man Charged With Killing 19-Year-old Woman
Police have arrested a man for a hit-and-run crash that killed a 19-year-old Fairfield County woman.
Troy Watley, age 28, of Stratford, was arrested on Saturday, July 1, after he allegedly hit and killed the 19-year-old shortly after 12 a.m., near St, Michael’s Cemetery on Stratford Avenue and then fled from the scene, said Capt. Frank Eannotti, of the Stratford Police.
When Stratford police arrived on the scene they found Michelle Rodriguez, of Stratford, lying in the roadway, Eannotti said.
She was rushed to Bridgeport Hospital where she died from her injuries.

Fatal Crash: Man Hit, Killed Running Across Busy CT Roadway
A Connecticut man was hit and killed by a car as he ran across a busy roadway.
The crash took place in New Haven County around 4 p.m., Friday, April 7 in Milford in the area of Boston Post Road and Meadow Street.
A preliminary investigation revealed that the pedestrian, identified as Edward Patrick Austin, age 49, was running north across Boston Post Road when he was struck by a 2015 Kia, which was traveling west on the Boston Post Road, police said.
